I posted some free Christmas graphics on my site, and wanted to share them with the Bloggy Girl's Club. They'll work on Blogger, Wordpress, or anything else you want to post them on. All you have to do is copy the code from the box, and paste it where you want it. Just like grabbing a button!
- For your blog...
- You'll need the HTML code. If you're adding it to a post, make sure that you paste it on the "HTML" tab instead of the "Compose" tab, or else it will just show plain text.
- For forum signatures or posts...
- Use the FORUM code. Most forums use "BB code" for posts and signatures, which is what I put in the FORUM box. Once in a blue moon, a forum will use HTML for posts & sigs instead of BB code, so if the FORUM code doesn't work for you, try copy/pasting the HTML code instead.
- Feeling nerdy?
- The DIRECT LINK code provides a raw link to the image, with no strings attached. You'll have to write your own code, but if you know how, you can add it to BB code, HTML, or whatever other odd thing accepts image urls. DIRECT LINK is also useful for forum avatars. Some forums have an option that lets you link to an image for your avatar. If you want to use one of these images for that purpose, the DIRECT LINK is the one you need. (Hint: Double-check direct links to make sure that the "HTTP://" part isn't entered twice!)
Merry Christmas!
